Story in the Vero Beach Newsweekly 4.21.2011
These pictures share a bit of the beauty of a special part of southern Indian River County located near the intersection of 58th Avenue and Oslo Road. We are proud to call this “home.” If you are looking for the historical “front page” to “Saynowaytowalee” click here.

The South County Preservation Society was formed by diverse group of residents from local Home Owner Associations, farmers and other neighbors who care about the quality of life in our community.
Beautiful!!! ….and to think we may have lost our quality of life and community health if we had rolled over and let the greed of one family ruin it for us. I thank each and every one of you for your rallied support, research, unity, financial contributions, faith, and understanding. You are all as beautiful as these pictures. The South County Preservation Society Health Coalition thanks each and every one of you.
I think that the Indian River Planning and Zoning Commission needs to be taken to task for their original decision. It was made without proper notice to us, without sufficient knowledge, and with incorrect information.
Dru,
The next Planning & Zoning Commission meeting is Thursday April 14th at 7:00 pm at Administration Building A. Same location as the hearing on March 22nd.
Bob Inhoff, Peggy Hoffman, and I plan on attending.
A thousand times thank you to Nick, Bob, Peggy and all those others who worked so hard on behalf of all of us!!!
